We have compiled helpful Covid-19 guidelines for serving meals in compliance with the Winnebago County Health Department Guidelines. Click the button below to view


Thank you for your interest in providing and serving a meal to our guests at Carpenter’s Place. It’s because of generous people like you that our guests are able to enjoy breakfast and lunch, Monday through Friday. Below you will find answers to some frequently asked questions that come up when people are considering volunteering for the first time. We hope this helps to clarify what you can expect if you choose to participate.

What meals are served at Carpenter’s Place?
We serve breakfast and lunch, Monday through Friday. (special schedules may apply to holidays)

Who can volunteer to provide a meal?
We welcome church groups, businesses, families, friends, and community groups.

How many guests do you serve?
For breakfast, we serve between 40 and 60 guests.
For lunch, we serve between 60 and 75 guests.

What time do I need to arrive with the meal?
Breakfast is served at 9:00 am. Food should arrive by 8:30 am.
Lunch is served at 12:00 pm. Food should arrive by 11:30 am.

What are some of the most popular meals?
Our guests love pizza, fried chicken, fresh fruit, green salad, potato salad, and hot dogs.
