With the success of our first retail ‘Carpenter’s Corner Thrift & More’ store in the Rural Oaks neighborhood, Carpenter’s Place has added a second store that’s now open to serve the needs of southeast Rockford and generate additional revenue for our many programs directly benefiting the area’s homeless and families in crisis.

Starting Sunday, July 12, our Carpenter’s Corner Rural Thrift & More Store will be open every Sunday, 11:00am to 5:00pm*. That’s what we call Thrift & More:
- More convenience, to fit Carpenter’s Corner shopping and donation dropoffs into your busy schedule.
- More exceptional value on gently-used adult and children’s clothing, jewelry, toys, household goods, furniture, bicycles, books and other merchandise.
- More community impact, with every dollar you spend going to Carpenter’s Place and benefiting our area’s homeless and families in crisis.

We’re accepting donations at Carpenter’s Corner Rural Monday through Saturday, 9am to 5pm and at our new Carpenters Corner Alpine, Monday through Saturday, 9am to 5pm. We are greatly in need of:

•Gently Used Clothing
•Furniture
(We’re not accepting sleeper sofas, mattresses, large appliances or large office furniture.)
Pick Up My Donation!
