Winter Needs

Fall is in full swing and winter is right around the corner. As the temperatures continue to fall we are seeking donations of some specific winter needs for our homeless guests. We also have a number of meal openings in December. Dates and details can be found below.

Special Winter Needs

• Cough Drops
• Foot Powder
• Hand and Foot Warmers
• XL – 3XL Winter Coats
• Warm Winter Boots; Men’s sizes 9 to 11 are needed most

If you plan to drop off donation items in person, we ask that you please coordinate in advance with Brooke. She can be reached by phone or email; 815-964-4105 ext. 203 cpengagement@carpentersplace.org. Donations by mail are always welcome and accepted at any time.

December Open Meal Dates

We would love your help providing meals for our guests this December. For breakfast we serve between 40-60 guests, and for lunch we serve around 60 guests. Meal services are at 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., respectively.

Donation items may be dropped off at Carpenter’s Place:
Monday – Thursday: 8:30am to 4:00pm
Friday: 8:30am to 2:00pm
