This year Carpenter’s Place celebrates 13 years of providing services to help rebuild the lives of homeless adults in Rockford. During this time, thousands of homeless men and women secured employment, housing and a multitude of other life-changing milestones. We acknowledge daily these phenomenal results were made possible through collaboration, cooperation and the support of many in our community.

We send our warmest thanks to the agencies, individuals, churches, clubs and organizations that step up and step out to help our homeless guests become contributing members of our community! Lives are changing! From dollars and doughnuts to deodorant, the generous contributions and volunteer hours given so selflessly make it happen!
Recently, the following awards were presented to some of our amazing partners in success: Cornerstone Award, Holy Family Catholic Church; Angel Award, Alberta James; Benefactor Award, Dean Alan Olson Foundation; Guardian Award, Dr. Kris Tumilowicz; and Helping Hands Award, Immanuel Lutheran Church, Belvidere. Together we’re ending homelessness, one person at a time. Thank you and God bless you, dear caring members of our extraordinary community!
