Current Needs for October

As the days become shorter and the leaves begin to fall, we know that winter is coming. We are more committed than ever to our mission; providing the tools to rebuild the lives of the homeless in Rockford. Listed below are the most urgently needed items needed to continue our day-to-day work at Carpenter’s Place. Our guests rely on the generous support from people in the community, like you, to provide basic everyday needs. Below is the complete list of our most urgent needs for the month of October. Any and all donations are very much appreciated!

Due to Covid-19, we need to be more mindful of our in-person visitors. If you plan to drop off donation items in person, we ask that you please coordinate in advance with Teresa. She can be reached by phone or email; 815-964-4105 ext. 203 cpengagement@carpentersplace.org. Donations by mail are always welcome and accepted at any time.

Note: due to COVID restrictions, we cannot use large containers of condiments that are touched by many; therefore, we now need individual packets
Individual Creamers (liquid or powder)
Individual Sugar
Individual packets of hot sauce, catsup, mustard, mayo
Sandwich bags (do not have to be zip type; fold-over is fine)
