Will You Be a Backpack Buddy?
It’s the start of summer, warm weather, and sunshine, but autumn leaves and back-to-school will be here before we know it! We are getting a head start on preparing the children in our Family Services Program for the 2021-22 school year, and we need your help! School supplies are a critical piece of the puzzle when it comes to preparing kids for the start of school. It’s safe to assume we can all remember fresh notebooks and crayons, a brand new backpack, and the excitement that came along with it. Feeling and being prepared is the first step to success!
We have a great opportunity for you to help our kids get ready! A donation of $6.50 will provide a backpack full of supplies for one of our children. Each backpack will be filled with supplies and delivered to the kids before the first day of school. We currently have 45 children in our program that need to be sponsored, and families will continue to be added this summer.
