Cycles for Change in the News

It can be found right in our mission statement “…provide the tools necessary for rebuilding lives…” and our Cycles for Change program does just that. In this case the tool is a bike – a simple, yet extremely effective, tool that provides a reliable and affordable means of transportation for our guests. 

“The Cycles for Change program can change a homeless person’s life because it gives them access,” said Executive Director Kay Larrick. “Access to go to the grocery store, being able to get to appointments, being able to go and apply for jobs and be able to get there on time in a reasonable length of time.”

WIFR TV recently stopped by Carpenter’s Place and visited with one of our guests, Chad, who has benefited from this program.
