Have a Heart for the Homeless Event
Carpenter’s Place invites you to join us for music, food and conversation at Katie’s Cup (502 7th Street, Rockford) on Friday, February 7 from 11 am to 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
There will be live music by singer/songwriter Paula Sentovich, who has a heart for making the Gospel message alive and relevant. You can check out her website at www.paulasentovich.com.
Also, Father David Beauvais, Catholic priest for over 50 years, social worker and counselor, will share us his reflections on how we can apply the Gospel message of love and kindness to our homeless brothers and sisters.
You can also choose from the newest selection of “Count My Blessings” Bracelets as you shop for Valentine’s Day! Enjoy the “Without Walls” photo display in which CP guests captured images of life on the streets of Rockford (available for purchase).
Of course, you can enjoy a cup of coffee and Katie’s new lunch menu (www.katiescup.com) as well as Melanie’s Country’s Confections (www.melaniescountryconfections.com).
Join us and invite your friends! Download the Heart for Homeless poster here. If you have questions, call Tiffany at (815) 964-4105 ext 221.
