REPLICAS OF THE CP MODEL

Chronic homelessness and chronic street populations are a national problem and gaining increased attention.

It has always been a goal of CP to produce a ‘Model' that can be replicated in other areas . . . a model that can produce positive outcomes as evidenced in the changing of individual human lives. CP has developed a model that can provide innovative, effective, and efficient systems for outreach and engagement, assessment, and service planning to the chronically homeless.

Aurora

Community leaders from Aurora , IL have replicate Carpenter's Place (CP) Rockford and put their emphasis on the prevention of homelessness.

It all began with an Aurora area couple that had visited CP Rockford almost two years ago.  The couple was impressed with what they saw and thought that the homeless population in their community could benefit from Carpenter's Place model.  The couple brought back literature and a video that circulated through various church, business and local government circles. The end result is that a task force formed to study options to local homelessness in the community and opened "Carpenter's Place of Aurora".
